When Terry and his family were down to Florida, he wanted to stay one more day to go to "The Art of Disney" in Downtown Disney as many of the artists behind a new collection series called Vinylmation were going to be present for a signing session.
The signing was to start at 5:00 pm and the staff there had said that there would be a significant lineup. I showed up at 2:30 and purchased a blank mickey to have signed and then got in line (I was third in line). As you can see, the line started to build shortly after.
This a picture of the "next" 12 in the series. This was the first time the public had seen them!
Two and a half hours later................

On another note, Mom was really getting into this. She really wanted to get the Kermit and was trying to buy one from some of the people in line with no luck. I told her she could go and buy "one" (they were sealed so you didn't know which one of the 12 you would get). A few minutes later she came running back (okay walking quickly) and would you believe it she got the Kermit, one chance in 12!!). Everybody was cheering for her!!
and of course we got it signed by Monty Maldovan, its creator!!
Kinda cool!!
