We took Mae to Cal's today where she will stay until February 14. He has a very nice trailer over in Clearwater. Marcelle made up a great lunch.
But the highlight had to be the lemon meringue pie!!
Besides tasting so great, what made this pie so special?
Because she made it from lemons that she picked off her own tree in her backyard!!!

It was a great visit and good to see the "Rouses" again!
Mae was a treat to have. The only problem was that it was over so fast. She is so independent and an inspiration to all of us. My best memory is hearing her sitting in the living room laughing uncontrollably at the Lucy shows that were on each morning.
