We have settled into a bit of a routine here in Scottsdale. Mornings are spent by the pool soaking in the warm rays of the sun and relaxing.
The Villa Mirage isn't a large resort, but is well kept and maintained.
That's our one bedroom unit on the upper left, 2nd floor.
The afternoons have been spent discovering the Scottsdale/Phoenix area.
The first stop on Saturday was Fashion Square and the Tiffany store so that Chris could get all (her one and only) Tiffany Jewellery cleaned.
This area may have been one of the hardest hit by the recession (you should see the houses you can buy for $80,000!), but you wouldn't know it by the malls. No closed stores and very high end.
We had a great lunch at the Cheesecake Factory.
We drove around for a bit and then went to the Outback for dinner (we really miss the one they closed in the falls) and then closed the night out at the Talking Stick Casino.
