Well, if you haven't figured it out yet, this is our favorite place in Orlando. Always lots of things to see and do here.
This is our favorite spot at our favorite place.
Mmmmmm, truffles this time.
So today we decided to visit Old Key West, another Disney Timeshare Resort. We got on the boat that goes to the West Side and then to Pleasure Island. Our Captain works 2-3 days a week at Disney in the winter and lives in his Winnebago Vectra during that time. Too bad I would need a green card or I would be standing in the Disney hiring line!!
We have met many folks who do the same thing. Work 2-3 days at Disney for a bit of pocket money, great discounts on everything and "Free" entry to the parks for their family and friends!
We transferred boats at Pleasure Island, went past Saratoga Springs (which we will visit in the future)........
and wound our way down the river to Old Key West.
While there, we tried to get ourselves in shape.
........and had a neat Mickey Mouse slide coming out of the sand castle into to the pool.
Even their ashtrays have a theme!
We returned to Pleasure Island To enjoy a little more music.
The Mary Poppins balloon was back in flight after being grounded most of the day due to high winds.
We saw these guys before. They really get the kids moving'.
This is Ruth King at the House of Blues singing a tribute to Whitney Houston that she had just written.
Saw these guys outside the Cuban store.
Past Planet Hollywood......
and the Golden (living) statue.....
And a little taste of classical music before walking back to the marketplace.
Here's a shot of the Market place for Mandy.
And past the T-Rex Restaurant before returning home.
Another great evening.
