No not the aerial show! The Snowbirds Extravaganza held at the Lakeland Center in Lakeland, put on by the Canadian Snowbird Association. Free admission and lots of freebies! What else would draw so many tight fisted Canadians??
And free entertainment, Rich Little, Peter Appleyard, Frank Mills and the one and only Walter Ostanek to name a few.
They had sharks.....
.....and Sloths ( didn't look that much like the one in the old I.T. Department at Dofasco).
Saw Minnie Mouse there!
Goofy Chris wasn't going to lose me today with that shirt on (from Bahamas Bob's at Webster 80)
They had a neat Team Canada display.
We missed Rich Little and Frank Mills, but caught the tail end of Walter's gig. WOW, dual accordions!!

Toured Lakeland a bit afterwards and made the required stops at the Beall's Outlets. She keeps coming out empty handed. I think though that it is all part of a larger strategy.
We're close enough to go to the Tampa Hard Rock (can you say casino). I dropped my usual $20, Chris came our with more than we went in with.......yeahhhh!
It was Wednesday night so we finished off the evening with a stop at Miller's Alehouse for dinner.
All this and a beer for $27!!!
