Happy Birthday Maddy!

Friday, March 1, 2013

12 years ago today, Chris and I were stuck at Vistana Resort here in Florida while Mandy was delivering our little Maddison, weighing in at only 1 Lb. 14 oz.!!  A snow storm had shut down Toronto International and we were unable to get home for two days.
Our little baby is growing into a beautiful young lady, both inside and out.

When I was down here in January, I received the picture below in an email one day!  I immediately thought that my email had been compromised and instantly deleted it.  I got it again and again deleted it.  Then I got a call from Mandy asking if I had received the picture.  I just about died.  That's my little Maddy???
They were goofing around and gave Maddy a makeover!
Oh my God!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MADDY!!
No more makeovers for awhile, okay?  Papa's heart can't take it.
Hope you had a great day!

Today was travel day for the Lonesome Trail Team and we had to be out of our units.
After a week of "Giving 'er", things finally slowed down here at Orange Lake.................

I have had a "GREAT" week with the Lonesome Pine Team.
Chris (Uncle Buck) and Ielene are a couple of the nicest people Chris and I ever met!
They are top shelf people and I feel very privileged that they came into our life.

Here's the balance of the team (minus Andrea who was somewhere in the River).

You are all wonderful people and good natured folks.  Thanks for sharing your week with me.  I thouroughly enjoyed it and look forward to seeing you all again.

Since my next week doesn't start until Saturday, I became a homeless person!  Fortunately, my Big Brother is staying in a house nearby with three other golfers, so I had a place to spend the night.
