One of the new things I have enjoyed this year is going to the Walters Dinner Theatre. I fell in love with the place the moment I went into the barn.
What an intimate place to see a show. The theatre seats about 158 people. There are tables on each side of the show seating, where you are treated to a delicious roast beef dinner. Then after a short break, you take your seats for the show. We always have front row as Lynn is a close personal friend of the Walters.
This was my third trip to the theatre and the second time I've seen the Walters Family perform.
This was their Gospel show and features some classic gospel numbers.
Husband Garry passed away a few weeks ago. I feel fortunate that I got a chance to meet him before he passed. He was a good friend of Lynn's husband Jim and despite being very ill, took the time to come down to the barn the first night I was there to say that he was glad that Lynn and I had met.
The Walters' home...
One of the highlights of the show is when grandson Schyler (Kim's son) comes out to play. Here's a short video of this talented 11 year old.
After the show we stopped at the A&W with Lynn's good friends Barb and Estelle and Paul who just moved back to Brantford from New Liskeard.
A great night full of entertainment and a lot of laughs.
