Paul and Family.

The Sunday, October 5, 2014

Paul and Andrea will be away camping on Thanksgiving, so we got together today.
We decided to head for Port Dover and stopped at the Mount Pleasant trout ponds along the way.   It's a beautiful spot and we hiked around one of the trails that circled two of the ponds.

From there we drove on to Port Dover to introduce the kids to the Arbour and 12 inch hotdogs.

We stopped for pumpkins on the way home (no pics) and stopped in Waterford.  I wanted to show Paul the ponds there.  They look awesome and I plan on fishing them next year.

We made a stop at the new Hospice to show the kids before it becomes operational.   It is an amazing place.   They are standing in front of the mural at the main entrance which is dedicated to Jim.

You can't come to Brantford without a stop at Dueys for ice cream.

When we got back to the condo we watched the Berkley B1 Bass Tournament weigh in on the web.  Paul fished with Dave Chong a week ago and he had the lead at one point (eventually ended up finishing 5th).
Way to go Dave!!

It was great to see the kids (and parents).  We won't see them now until we return from out Hurricane Trip (more about that later).
