As dawn arrived, the shores of beautiful Maui came into view.
Once we were docked, we headed out to meet our personal guide, Jasmine of Holo Holo Tours, for the day.
We were going to tour along the Road to Hana, carved out of the side of the mountain (volcano) with over 600 turns and 50 bridges.
Too many pictures! Some of the best scenery I will see in my life!
I'll let them do the talking.......
Met a few native Hawaians fishing
We stopped at one of the small villages.
Jasmine explained how this was one of the first plants to populate the lava.
We stopped for a hot loaf of Banana Bread from Aunty Sandy's Banana Bread. Mmmmmmmmm.....
One of the 50 bridges and many waterfalls.
A Rainbow Eucalyptus tree.
I love this shot!
Moe and I made our way with Jasmine through an old Volcano tube for this spectacular view!!!!
Really no words to describe all of this.
I have so many spectacular shots I could show. Jasmine took this trip to a whole new level with her knowledge and passion. We not only saw spectacular scenery, but learned so much about Hawaian culture and tradition.
Here's her website.
Highly recommended and a must do if you're ever blessed to be out this way.
We returned to the boat and Lynn and I discovered the walking deck.
3 laps = 1 Mile.
We found this great Ukelele Duo before hitting the sack.
.....and were greeted by this puppy when we got to our room :)
Aloha!

Roger, the pictures on Maui are absolutely beautiful - I was sitting here with a big smile on my face looking at them, and even happier to see the smiles on all your faces. I think you have fallen in love with Hawaii like we Uncle David and I did. Mahalo for the memories you brought back. xxx
