Bud and Mardi started the day out by bringing us a Care Package from their fridge as today is their departure day. While our time together was limited, we enjoyed every minute of it. We look forward to seeing them again in February. After they left it was a little bit like going through a Christmas stocking, finding all the different goodies in the bags! Mmmmm.... Yuengling!! Thank you Santa....I mean Bud, although I think that may have been a leftover from David's stay. Isn't that what they call re-gifting?
Have a safe trip home.
Today was a lot cooler than it has been so we all decided to hit the Premium Malls together and get some deals. I found the watch I've been looking for and it turned out to be half price! My wonderful Rolex that I picked up in a back street of New York City quit on me way back in the early fall and I thought I would try going without one for the first time since I could tell time. It seems the kids of today don't need one so I thought I would go with the flow and use my cell phone like they do. Well, after 6 months of continually reaching for my cellphone or looking around for the nearest clock, I finally got tired of the crap. Of course it had to be a gadget watch (heart rate) and indiglo as well (I've always wanted one of those!)
The ZONE-Lo doesn't mean my heart rate is low, just that it is below my aerobic zone for someone my age. What did it expect when I'm lounging on the couch!!
It was another great day with the kids.
Lots of laughs, lots of walking, and lots of spending! But oh... the deals!!!!
Well judging by my new indiglo watch (did I tell you I got it for half price), it looks like its time for bed.
Goodnight!
