The Tampa RV Show is one of the biggest in the country, so while the kids did their thing, Chris and I drove out to check it out. The dream won't go away! We were here a couple of years ago and have since settled on what we'd want if we ever got one (2000-2003 Winnebago Adventurer). So today was more about talking to folks and attending a few seminars rather than kicking tires (everything is new here anyways and way, way, way out of our price range).
I felt reeeeal comfortable behind the wheel of this baby (2012 Adventurer). Just after this shot, we had about an hours great discussion with a couple that had the previous year's model.
We attended a couple of seminars ( one on load balancing and tire pressures) which are applicable to every day driving.
Lots of entertainment.
Great day and learned lots.
When we left the Tampa Fairgrounds we had to pass the Tampa Hard Rock Cafe, famous for its casino (possibly the only land based one in Florida).
In we went with our $20 each. As usual, I lost mine ( but played for awhile). As usual Chris walked out with $70, up $50 and up $30 net ( after I drag her down).
Ended the night with a healthy meal at Long John Silvers!!
All in all a great day.
