Today we went to The Catfish Place in St. Cloud where we met with Carol Gilley and a few of Doug's old friends. That's Mike from Texas on the left, Carol, Tom from Pennsylvania, Mary and Doug Amos from Rockport, Ontario. Doug is a guide on the St. Lawrence River and spends his winters fishing in Florida. Tough life! 8O)
We had a good yack session over some excellent catfish. Its always good to see Carol. She used to have her own boat and competed on the women's Bass Trail and has the same sense of humour as her husband Doug had.
From there we went over to Titusville to check out a Winnebago Adventurer that's on E-Bay. The dream just won't go away.
This was a nice clean unit and in great condition for a 2001. Even Chris liked it!!!!
Don't panic, just more fact gathering. Who knows what the future holds for us........
When you're in Titusville, even the McDonalds takes on the local theme.
Got home just in time to watch the 36 hours of Daytona!! 8O)
Didn't get to bed till 1:00 am
