Today was Guitar Workshop at ORO. Here's a few of the folks that come out to play. That's Harold Morgan on the left. A very friendly guy from Illinois. Notice the 5 string this week!
I had the distinct pleasure of playing beside Dennis who could really pick. He would have to stop periodically as his arthritis jammed his fingers, and then he would pick up the tune again once they loosened up. He worked the coalmines in West Virginia for 12 years after coming out of the service after WWII. Loved listening to his runs, he was a real inspiration and sang an awesome rendition of Amazing Grace.
Finished the day off with another fine dinner at the Alehouse.
