St. Augustine

We had a slow start today.
First stop, Panera Bread, right across from our resort. When Chris and I were leaving last year, a sign had been put up stating "Future site of Panera Bread" Chris was really excited about this, so we had to go for breakfast. Unfortunately, by the time we got there, breakfast was no longer being served.

Great food outside on a great day!

Next stop Daytona Flea market.

Picked up a great pair of sunglasses that make the old guy "Rock" for $8.00! Yeah baby.

I was on such a run that I picked up a Johnny Cash "Hurt" DVD. We went on to watch my new Johnny Cash "Film" on the way up to St. Augustine and it turned out to be just a DVD of the music video. Playing time less than 5 minutes. Whoops!

The kids loved St. Augustine. Chris always talked about taking them there. We felt her presence throughout the day.

Didn't catch the name of this dude, but I really enjoyed his music and he took requests 8O)

Took the kids to Cat Lover's Boutique, Chris' favourite store here. Note the Monarch butterfly in the picture by the entrance.

We will definitely be back to St Augustine.  Still so much more to see.
Stopped at a Cracker Barrel on the way home for one last dinner.

Had a few last minute items to pick up at Downtown Disney.
I've been wanting to get these Mickey gloves for years.  Hey FishGuts, you'll recognize me at the airport waiting to greet you!  8O)

One last group shot.

When we got home, the girls put these "special" shirts on for bed.  They were Chris' and I gave them to them for Christmas.

I will never be able to put into words what this trip has meant to me.  There has been so much celebrating and healing amongst all of us that it goes beyond description.  It has been a great week for all of us.  We have felt Nana's presence all week long.
Off to the airport in the morning.
I will surely miss them.
