New Beginnings

Monday, January 7, 2013

Went to bed at 2:00 am last night. Back up at 5:00 am to take the kids to the airport. It's been an amazing week One that I will never forget.
Dropped them off at the airport and then returned home to find notes Mandy left throughout the Villa.
Very inspirational, thanks Mandy Girl.
So today is a new beginning....... my first day of serious training. 80)
Did a load of laundry and then left the Villa and headed toward East Village, observed a bit of nature

past River Island,

past the Presentation Center and through the Security Gate and out to 192 for a nice healthy lunch at Sweet Tomatoes. Yes, for those familiar with the surroundings, I walked past Miller's Ale House (that in itself is a miracle), past Applebee's, Olive Garden, Logan's, Longhorn's Steakhouse and Bahama Breeze for a tasty meal of salad (with water).

It was so good that I went for seconds.

Walked along 192 to the Main Gate (crazy traffic, no sidewalks, won't do that again.)

And past the sand cranes.

4.3 miles.  My hips aren't impressed.
