Mini Putt Marathon

Wednesday, March 13, 2013

Today Evan and I tried the inaugural launch of his new helicopter.

But unfortunately, it was a little too windy.  Maybe we'll try again tomorrow.
We then went for a walk over to the Lazy River.

And had a bite to eat.

Rachel joined us a bit later for 36 holes of mini putt while their parents had a bit of free time.

On our way back to our unit, we had to walk past these Sandhill Cranes.

We reunited with Paul and Andrea and we went to the Texas Roadhouse for dinner and I introduced them to their excellent $8.99 Sirloin Steak with two sides!

From there we drove back down to Bass Pro Shops.

Paul had looked at a T-Shirt last time we were there.  We all urged him to buy it, but he declined.  Then today he decided that he really wanted it, so back we went............. just like his Mother !  ;)

We drove down I-Drive to a destination that we had promised the kids all week.........The Pirate's Cove Mini Putt!!!!

They played here a few years ago and have been looking forward to it for a long time.
Pogger kicked our butts. He was keeping score.....hmmmmm.
