This is our only full day in Myrtle Beach. We started the day off with a timeshare presentation by Blue/Green. An easy presentation and scored us tickets for tonight's Legends in Concert.
We returned to our resort and spent a few hours at the pool.
There was a constant stream of butterfly's passing through on their migration. A large percentage of them were theese yellow ones. It seemed that there was always at least one in sight, but usually 10 or more.
There were a few monsrchs, but lots of these similar but smaller breeds.
We went for a good walk along the boardwalk, stopping for a bite to eat at Landsharks.
We returned along the beach.
This pic was taken just after the previous shot just as the water reached her feet!!
We took in the Legends Show which featured performances of Barry White,Johnny Cash, Blues Brothers, Adele and Elvis. I'm not a huge fan of Elvis impersonators, but this guy was excellent. As a bonus he called up s member of the audience, Travis Powell, the winner of the Ultimate Elvis contest in Vegas. Excellent job by both. By far the best part of the show.
Some time ago we took a leaf from Mardi and Bud. We bought identical Sudoku books from the Dollar Store.
We play the same puzzles and see who can finish (correctly) first. It came as quite a shock to my ego when she won the first book, winning 2 games for every one of mine.
The second book she won 3 games for every one of my 2 (at least showing improvement).
The third book I took an early lead, but that slowly eroded until I was trailing by 6 games with 6 games to go. We had the big finale the other night. I had to win all 6 games to tie! I won the first game, and then the second, the destruction continued as I sent Lynn into a panic. Five games in a row!!!!!!! We're down to the last game. I am on a tear!!!!!........
Son of a Bitch!!!!!!! She wins the last game to win the book. I am driven into deep depression as I now trail 3 books till none.
I am at least improving. I think she's in trouble. I just have to win the next 4 books (100 games per book).
No problem :)
