Yorktown

Wednesday, October 15, 2014

Lots of rain today so we got off to a late start.   Drove down the Colonial Parkway to Yorktown.  Built between 1930 and 1957, The Colonial Parkway joins Jamestown, Yorktown and Williamsburg.  Measuring approximately 23 miles long, it's one of my favourite drives anywhere.

We were originally going to eat at the Riverwalk Landing, but the menu at their sister store Water Street Grille was more appealing.

Cheers!

This 114 foot private boat from Miami pulled into the dock while we were there!
That's almost 100 feet longer than my boat.  It's lifeboat is bigger than my boat.....never mind the jet ski also on board!
