Today was spent tying up a lot of loose ends, some planned, some unplanned.
We stopped in at Target to pick up a few things. Chris went inside while I sat in the van and enjoyed one of the new DVDs that I picked up on Sunday. Whoops!............when Chris got back and I went to start the van.........nothing! It should have had a full charge after the big drive yesterday.
Called AAA for a boost and the guy put a tester on it and said it should be changed. It is the original battery and I knew it wasn't up to snuff. No sense chancing it with the big drive we have planned (see below), so he installed a new one that he had in his truck. Came with a 6 year warranty so now we are good to go!
We went from there over to Bass Pro. Only my second time here since I've been down. Boy have times changed!!! Didn't buy anything either, and I still have my $125 Gift Certificates from our stay at St. Augustine!!
Had a cheap dinner at CiCi's and went to the Premium Mall over by Bass Pro. When we got home I finished booking our return trip:
We leave here on Thursday, March 29 and drive to Asheville NC..
Friday, March 30 Go to the Biltmore House in Asheville.
Saturday, March 31 Drive to Nashville TN and attend the Grand Ole Opry
Sunday, April 1 Drive to Branson MO and stay at the Stonebridge Village
Monday - Friday - Attend various shows and attractions in and around Branson.
Sunday, April 8 - Leave Branson and possibly stop in St. Louis to go up the arch.
Monday, April 9 - Stop at Grove City, Pa and arrive home late that night.
2500 miles and many more adventures to come!
