What an awesome day! We left our villa at 8:30 am, had a quick breakfast from McDonald's and started our journey at Animal Kingdom.
Picked up a Fast Pass for the Kilimanjaro Safari and then went on the Dinosaur Ride......
...... before the kids FORCED me to ride Everest!......the Roller Coaster that runs backwards part way.,,,,,,,
Fortunately, I survived 80)
We then returned for our Safari Ride. I could fill this blog with pictures, but suffice to say we saw lots if animals. It remains one of the best attractions at Disney for me.
We followed that by going on the nature trail. This was by far the best thing we did all day. Birds, fish, monkeys, gorillas, etc all in a very nice setting. We took our time here and fully enjoyed the stillness and presence of nature.
Maddy then left a little of Nana under the Tree of Life, Nana's favourite spot at Animal Kingdom.
On our way out of the Park, we came across the Tree Lady. Can you spot her?
We boarded a bus and made our way to Hollywood Studios.
I tried to get the kids to turn left once inside the Park, but they insisted on going right, straight to "The Tower of Terror"!!!!!!!!!! This was Nana's and Miranda's favourite ride at this park.
A bit of Nana went with us on the ride and then Miranda left her there.
I was very proud of myself. We ate just before going on the ride and I managed to keep my food down 80)
Next we went to The Great Movie Ride (Mandy's favourite more my speed too 80)
On to Epcot, Park #3, by boat. We listened to the Band behind the British Building for a bit. Had some English Style Fish & Chips, We then went on Spaceship Earth (the ball), another of Mom's favourites. Terry did the honour here.
Then off to Soarin', one of the best rides going. It was an 80 minute wait, but well worth it.
Then caught a bus back to Animal Kingdom where we were about the only vehicle left in the parking lot. Terry and the kids discovered an Animal Kingdom wheelchair in the parking lot.
Another Magical day!
