Bud and Mardi have only been about a block away for the last week and a half. We both drive over 1200 miles and today was the first time we got together. Unfortunately, they and Mardi's family that were down have been sick. It was great to finally see them.
They went out by the course they're on and found a bunch of golf balls in the bushes. Bud put one of the balls on a tee between the tee off markers by their unit and we sat and were entertained by all the confused looks by the various golfers coming by. The things old people do for entertainment. 80)
To make it even more crazy, look at all the scratches Bud got retrieving lost balls!
I think the flu did something to his brain :)
After all the entertainment we retreated to the dining room where Mardi had prepared awesome omelets. Thanks Mardi, it was delicious!
We went for a walk (over 2 miles) around the resort.
We came across these cool paddle pontoon boats on the main lake. Bud did some research, they cost over $7000. Too bad, they would be real cool if cheaper. Note the rod holders on the one boat.
We regrouped to go down to the Alehouse for a typical awesome meal and then back to their pad after.
A great day with wonderful people..... Well Mardi anyways! Hahahahahahaa!
