Labour Day

I've never seen such a friendly Red Squirrel.   This little guy finished my breakfast and then probably stored about 6 dozen peanuts taking them out of Jordan's hands.

I returned to the hot spot from yesterday with Tina, Sahara and Jordan.  But we only managed small stuff.  This one of Tina's is nothing like the 6+ that she caught on opening weekend.

On our way back we spotted Dion who was kayaking in the middle of the lake for Lake Trout.

And he was successful.   They were about 30 feet down.

Here's a before......

...... and after shot.....

Dion is a master knife sharpener, so I took advantage of his skills with my dull filet knives.

The Monarchs continue to bless us all week.

We had a great weekend with Dion, Tina, Sahara and Jordan.   It was sad to see them go, but the kids had to get ready for..........SCHOOL!  Oh how I hated those days.
