Today is travel day. We have had such an amazing time. Our flight didn't leave till 10:15 pm so we had the day to enjoy.

We had our farewell lunch at one of the resort's restaurants.

One last look.
And so it was off to Vancouver on the Red Eye. We left at 10:15 pm and would arrive in Vancouver at 6:30 am.

One last group picture at the Vancouver Airport. We had a fabulous time with Moe and Jo. Perfect traveling partners. A big thank you to Joanne for all her organizational skills. They were heading back to Toronto......
......and we were heading out in this Dash 8-300 for the 23 minute flight to Victoria.
But first they had to add oil!
My first view of Vancouver Island.
We were picked up at the airport by Lynn's brother Ritchie and his wife Caroline. We have our own guest unit in their complex. Cost........$15/day!!!
And that included the welcoming decorations.
We had a quick nap and went out for a driving tour of Victoria.
Lots of deadheads everywhere on the beach.
Beautiful shoreline everywhere.
We stopped at the Oak Bay Beach Hotel for a bite to eat.
The streets are beautifully lined with blossoming trees.
Our first home cooked meal in awhile. Man it was delicious!
A looooong day!!!.......but a great start to the next phase of our honeymoon!
Time for bed.
