Ever since I retired, I have promised to take Miranda & Maddy out of school for lunch. My first suggestion was to have lunch in their school with their friends, but they could hardly breathe when I suggested that 8O)
So today was the day! I got to their school just before noon and busted them out! We made our way to the restaurant of their choice (McDonalds). We had some excellent discussion about School, New York and Pirates while we munched on our delicacies.
I explained to them that when I was just a few years older than them, I could buy a McDonald's hamburger, fries and a pop and get change back from my dollar.
Today's Bill - $21.00
We had a really great time and I got them back to school with 2 minutes to spare.
